The slim, elliptical bar shape and rubberized Vortex strips work together to cut down wind noise and drag. Even at highway speeds, the airflow stays controlled and quiet without needing an extra fairing. The bars sit flush between the side rails, raising the rack only about 1-3/8" above your roofline for a clean, low-profile ride.

The flush-mounted crossbars blend seamlessly with the legs for a built-in look. There’s no awkward overhang—just a sturdy, OEM-style setup that looks like it came on the vehicle. The structural-grade anodized aluminum build and internal H-shaped extrusion deliver strength without extra weight, and the glass-reinforced nylon legs are UV treated to handle sun, weather, and heavy loads up to 176 lbs.

These bars give you options for all kinds of adventures. The built-in C-channel lets you slide in bike racks, kayak cradles, or ski holders using channel mounts. If you prefer clamp-on accessories, those fit too. The Vortex strips come in three pieces so you can easily trim around accessory mounts and keep the channels sealed against dirt and noise.
Each leg has locking covers that secure both your rack and any channel-mounted gear in place. All covers are keyed alike for convenience—one key opens them all. With the crossbars locked to the side rails, your setup stays protected whether you’re parked at a trailhead or overnight on a trip.

The system arrives almost completely assembled, with crossbars already mounted into the legs and pre-cut to size. Rubber-coated stainless steel straps wrap fully around the raised rails for maximum contact and security. The straightforward setup makes it easy to get a tight, solid fit without complicated tools or extra parts.

Love the look of the vehicle as a whole! The bars certainly blend right in and look factory! So good to know it was a perfect fit for the '25 Outback Wagon, too! What will be going up there on the bars?
